Kamil Polner lives in the UK and has been producing music from the age of twelve. His previous productions have had support from Menno De Jong & John Wright. A collaboration he has done with Mark Hoogkamer under the alias of 'Alliance' which is forthcoming on Selective Recordings. Here he brings us his first offering on Armada's A State of Trance label.
Heart of Sun
The one great thing I love about this track is that it is built up so well until the main break. Plenty of layers are added and some great chord changes are used to lift the listeners emoticions. The pads are lush and sweeping and the over all feel of the track is that it is a truely epic masterpiece! The main riff is quite generic, but fits in nicely with the whole feel of the tune. The build up to the break is non existent really, but the emoticion is massive.
Feel of Eternity
If you thought 'Heart of Sun' was amazing wait until you hear this! Its quite a similar structure, but for me it really gives that something extra. The chord changes have even more emoticion packed into the them and the main riff is absolutely spot on. I did find it a bit odd that it was introduced so early, but it really does help to build up the track so well. Absolutely awesome awesome production. This is definately my favourite track of 2006 so far.
Yet another superb release from the ASOT label. Whilst these tracks may not be too dissimilar to some tracks we've heard from them before, they certainly take the bar to the next level for me. No massive drops, but just a rollercoaster of emoticions all the way. This is a must get release.
