Radio Edit/Vocal Mix

Let.s not beat around the bush on this one, its cheddar of the highest degree. Utter cheese with no hint of class what so ever. Alongside a crap video filmed on the beech with half naked ladies (I haven.t seen the video, just assuming from a marketing point of view that would be the best it stands to prove very popular with the Ritzy crowd. Of course, anyone remotely interested in the decent side of funky house, or music for that matter will avoid this one like the plague. FACT.

Softly sang vocals with lots of strings and a deep percussion sounds alright on the surface, but in practice its crud. Drivel drivel drivel.

The Lovefreekz vocal mix

I.m not actually sure how they managed it, I.d probably be here a long time trying to figure it out, but The Lovefreekz have actually done a half decent job of it. I say half decent, its still nothing jaw dropping, but listening to this after the Radio edit and the urge to slit your wrists subsides. All the perks (perks?) of the original remain, only it.s all chopped up and laid out better. For listening purposes this is a good thing, only I personally reckon this mix will be the overlooked jobby. It.s to classy for Ritzy yet still to cheesy for any where decent.
By all means give it a jazz, though id strongly recommend you listen to the Radio edit first, gives you something awful to compare it to.

Ernesto & Bastian Vocal mix

Seems like this CD goes from strength to strength, the original mixes being cack, the Lovefreekz being listenable and this jolly mix scoring positive points. Ok so it.s not going to make anthem status, and I highly doubt you.ll catch it being cained at GodsKitchen however that doesn.t make it crap. It has a tough kick, the vocals don.t exactly add to the feel, but don.t get in the way either. The tech sounds are certainly in the lime light here, keeps the track from being a namby pamby obvious cash in.

Overall opinion

I'm not sure what kind of package the retail release will include. It.s certainly worth the pennies if it features The Lovefreekz/Ernesto & Bastian mix, should it include the Vocal/Instrumental I imagine you.ll take one quick listen then hit yourself for causing unnecessary torture. I don.t know, your call, don.t say I didn't warn you though.
