M.O.T Venture is the legendary trance producer Patrick Prins. He has produced some all time classics such as Indica - Labia & Artemisia - Bits & Pieces. His website offers all of his productions for free download - well worth it if you used to love dance music back in 1996! This particular track was popular with Danny Rampling who used it on his Love Groove Dance Party album.

I would say that this track was way ahead of its time, just simply because of the structure of the track. Trance lovers will know how hard it was to mix some older trance because there was no build to the tracks. This has a perfect build. It starts off with a simple kick then adds a bassline with a building swirling riff. The vocals are very strange, I dont think I've ever quite managed to work out exactly what they say! The piano riff is very simple but effective and it builds up really simply to an electro synth. There is no real drop in this. It is kept really simple. Thats the beauty of it! It just builds and builds to a minute before the end where there is plenty of time to mix out of it!
Simple is effective as proven by this track. Its not a well known track by any means, but will always be an absolute classic as far as im concerned!
