Anyone here like Way Out West? I imagine most of you reading this will nod your head in
remembering Mindcircus or perhaps their remixes of Lustral classics Broken/Everytime.
How many of you are fond of their Dj’ing though? Me, well, since finding hybridized.org
in early 2005 I’ve become addicted to them. Can’t tell you a dam thing about either Nick
Warren or Jody Wisternoff but I sure as hell like their music. Particularly Jody’s Dj sets.
It was whilst listening to Jody’s autumn 2005 mix I came across this little gem. Since
being ID’d by Drew of the forums I’ve pretty much had it on repeat. Stunning isn’t the
word, magnificent with extra sass sprinkled on top perhaps?
The strings, the chords, the ghostly vocals, everything about this reeks of class. Yes this
is indeed a beautiful number, a track that manages both tame for casual listening and upbeat
for grooving too.
Would it appeal to you? That depends. If your into all that hard crap then no. If you like
your music uplifting I suspect it’d fit into you “warm up” section. If you’re a prog lover,
you’ve probably already got it.
