Paolo Mojo - 1983 (Eric Prydz Remix)
Pryda Friends
Catalogue Number: PRYF002
Eric Prydz is the only dance producer who can say he has got to number one twice in the UK charts with the same single during the same period of release. "Call on Me" was no doubt one of the biggest success's dance music has had in the recent history. Here he's come up with a twelve minute techlectro track for his new record label Pryda Friends.
1983 (Eric Prydz Remix)
Few producers can make a twelve minute track and keep most people interested for the duration. Eric Prydz has proven with this that he is one of them. The track starts off with a simple kick and riff and slowly introduces a mystical panning effect which helps create the atmosphere. The track then builds up for the first time to drop an electro twanged bassline & slowly introduces some more progressive pads in the background. As it continues to build up, chord changes are added to the bassline and that mystical panning effect comes back until the main riff is introduced. This adds an extra dimension to the track which then drops and continues to build nicely until near the end where ample time is given for the DJ to mix out!
With plays from Deep Dish, Steve Angello & Armin Van Buuren on numerous occasions on his ASOT show, this track has created a real buzz and is one of the biggest tracks around at the momment. I'll expect to see this in a lot of people's end of year charts, it's absolutely massive.
