Super 8 VS DJ Tab - Helsinki Scorchin'

Another release from the ever popular Anjunabeats. This time we have the 2nd collaboration between Finland's finest, Super 8 & DJ Tab. First Aid was perhaps one of the biggest tracks of last year for many people and the follow up has been hugely anticipated for many months now.
Original Mix
From the opening 10 seconds, you can already tell that this track is going to showcase a different side of both producer's creative talent. It starts off with quite a funky kick as the baseline fades in very slowly. The track builds very nicely adding those cut up vocals that Anjuna have become acustomed to using. The breakdown is kept quite simple. It basically stops before building up to a really large crescendo of sound before the drop which sends the dancefloor into euphoria. There is a really strong acid-style riff used during the 2nd build up which I really like. One critiscm I have about the track is that it is incredibly long for a trance tune coming in at a whopping 9 minutes 50 seconds! Having said that - it is absolutely massive and everywhere I've heard it played out it has been recieved well!
Alex Morph Remix
As expected from one of the hottest talents in the trance scene at the moment, here is a pounding, driving, euphoric trance masterpiece! The kick is as hard as you will find anywhere. The baseline is moody and the riffs are simply stunning. Not so keen on use of the vocals as they seem out of place at certain times. The main riff used works really well and this is a really typical Alex Morph production. Its all about the drop. Taking the listener to the next level. Another superb production from the German.
This is one of Anjunabeats finest releases over the last year or so. Both the mixes are different styles and both are sublime productions.
